"Women's History Month"

Originally established in the USA, 'Women's History Month' honors the important but often forgotten contributions of women to culture, history and society every March. Over the centuries, countless women have contributed to our democracy, human rights or, for example, the history of medicine as scientists, politicians, artists or activists, thereby improving the lives of us all. In 2024, Women's History Month will focus on "women who have fought for equality, diversity and inclusion". Our film selection is intended to do justice to many aspects of female participation in our present. The latter is certainly not yet perfect, but in many parts of the world it offers a quality of life and freedom that was unthinkable in the past. Have fun tracking down courageous women and their extraordinary life stories!
